One of the most asked questions is how to obtain vital records online. The answer is, you can't - well at least I am not aware of any state that offers their records online. This is probably a good thing, meant to protect information that could be misused if in the wrong hands.
This link will take to you a searchable page where you can look up contact information for vital record offices in all 50 states. I've had to request out of state records twice. Both times, I used this site. I called the vital records office, they faxed me a form, and I was able to pay with a credit card over the phone for the copies, which I had within 3 days.
