I work for a small firm and sometimes I need to access my work computer from home though (and my home computer from work). Most remote access sites are not cost effective for a small firm like mine. LogMeIn is free software which allows remote access. Yes, I said FREE. No catch, no trial period, no fine print (although it does require a download to both computers).
I have been using logmein for about 1 month now and it works great. I like being able to take a sick day and not feel guilty or fall behind on work. Whats great about it also is i can print out everything i need and have it waiting for me when i get back into the office or email it to my home computer and print it at home if i need it now.
ReplyDeleteremote access is great for employees/owners that cannot afford to miss a day at work. It's also great for businesses that many agents/salespeople outside of the office that need to have access to important files and documents stored on a different computer or server. It's not surprising that small and large businesses alike are increasingly utilizing remote access software.
